1. The CleanStream Guarantee
CleanStream was built as a safe harbor for kids. To guarantee this safety and comply fully with children's safety and privacy laws (including COPPA), we have engineered our authentication flow to be ironclad: an adult must always be in the loop.
2. How the Consent Loop Works
Mandatory Email: When a new account is created, a Parent/Guardian email address is strictly required.
Account Suspension by Default: The account remains in a "Pending Verification" state and cannot be used to upload, browse, or perform actions until consent is granted.
Verifiable One-Click Consent: The designated parent/guardian receives an email containing a secure link. Clicking the link acts as the adult's digital signature, signifying they consent to the creation of the account.
Total Control: Following activation, the consenting adult retains ultimate authority over the account and can request immediate suspension or deletion at any time.
3. Your Responsibilities as the Consenting Adult
By providing consent to activate a CleanStream account, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are a legal adult (18 years of age or older) and are the parent or legal guardian of the user.
You hold primary responsibility for the behavior and content generated by the user.
You have reviewed CleanStream's Privacy Policy and agree to our processing of the necessary account data.
By checking the consent box during registration and by clicking the activation link in your email, you are legally binding yourself to this Adult Consent agreement.
